Dr. Germaine M. Blaine graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. She completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She furthered her training as a Fellow in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center from 1998 to 2001. She then was appointed Instructor and subsequently Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Blaine completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, with an emphasis in Clinical Investigation in 2003 at the University of South Florida. She has been in private practice since 2003 and has resided in Brevard County since 2004. Dr. Blaine is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
As a survivor of childhood cancer, she has a unique perspective and interest in post-treatment issues affecting cancer survivors. |
